Crispy, crunchy, spicy and soft in the middle
I have used cod to make the pakoras, you can use any firm white fish you like.
2 pieces of filleted fish
1 cup Besan (Chickpea flour)
½ tsp Ajwain (ajmo)
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp Ginger garlic
½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp dhana jerro powder
2 tbls Lemon juice
1tsp baking powder
Fish cut into strips or cubes.
Combine all ingredients. And make a batter using the water
Stir the fish in batter.
Let it stand 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
Fry battered fish pieces in hot oil till golden brown.
It will take about 5 minutes per batch being fried.
